# Answering machine

> An algorithm automatically detects answering machines for outbound agents. It is possible to customize a message to be left in case of an answering machine.

## Answering machine detection

During outbound calls, an algorithm automatically detects answering machines. It detects the beep with an accuracy of more than 95%.

## Automatic message generation in case of an answering machine

It is possible to configure an outbound agent so that he leaves a message automatically. This message will be played just after the beep is detected.

In your outbound agent settings tab, go to the bottom of the "Prompt" window and activate "Answering Machine Message". A text box will appear where the message can be configured.
