# Consumption

> This section allows you to view and manage all your consumption information on the Volubile platform.

## Overview

The Consumption page displays a comprehensive summary of your usage and associated costs for using Volubile voice agents, including tracking of your plans and consumption.

## Plans and current consumption

  This section shows the current month's phone usage, including consumption of your subscribed plans and any overages that will be billed at the end of the cycle.

### Consumption table structure

| Column        | Description                                                          |

| Month         | Consumption period concerned                                         |
| Duration      | Total usage time of voice agents in minutes                          |
| Price ex. VAT | Amount excluding tax to pay for the period (excluding plan included) |

### Detail by agent

Under the monthly summary, you will find a detailed breakdown by agent with the following information:

| Duration      | Usage time of this specific agent in minutes                   |

## Invoices

This section contains the history of all your issued invoices. Each invoice can be downloaded in PDF format.

## Frequently asked questions

  <Accordion title="How do minute plans work?">
    Your plan constitutes a minimum monthly commitment. The minutes included in your plan are not transferable from one month to another.

    **How it works:**

    * If you consume less than your plan: you pay the plan amount and lose unused minutes
    * If you consume more than your plan: you pay the plan + additional minutes according to the overage rate

    **Example:**

    * Subscribed plan: 1000 minutes included
    * Usage: 800 minutes → You pay the full plan, 200 minutes are lost
    * Usage: 1200 minutes → You pay the plan + 200 overage minutes

  <Accordion title="How are overage costs calculated?">
    Overages are calculated based on usage time exceeding your monthly plan.
    Each overage minute is billed according to the rates in effect in your contract.

    **Overage calculation example:**

    * Subscribed plan: 1000 minutes included
    * Usage: 1100 minutes and 30 seconds
    * Overage: 100 minutes and 30 seconds
    * Overage rate: €0.60/minute
    * Total overage cost: €60.3 ex. VAT

    Invoices are automatically generated at the end of each month for the previous period.
    Processing may take up to 10 days after the end of the month.

## Consumption cycle

    Platform usage during the calendar month within your subscribed plan

    On the last day of the month, consumption is finalized and any overages are calculated

    An invoice is generated within 10 days following the end of the month for overages and plan subscription

    This invoice is payable by credit card or bank transfer.
